Former Whitley County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) board members John Lefever and Jim Argerbright were recently honored for their service to economic development Whitley County with Special Resolutions from the Indiana General Assembly. The Resolutions were sponsored by State Representative Kathy Heuer (R-83) and State Senator Jim Banks (R-17).

Locally based C&A Tool Engineering (“C&A Tool”) announced today that the company has been awarded the Premier Supplier Award from Bell Helicopter, an industry leader in the development and production of helicopters and vertical lift aircraft. 

Nearly 150 business, community, and elected leaders from Whitley County and Northeast Indiana gathered at the newly established $15M Iotron Industries USA facility in Park 30 Business Center to celebrate the Whitley County Economic Development Corporation’s (EDC) 20th anniversary and to recognize recent economic development achievements.

The boards of directors of the Whitley County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) and the Whitley County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) announced today they are exploring options to more closely align their work with local business and industry. 

PDQ Workholding LLC (PDQ Workholding) announced today that the company is continuing to expand its Whitley County operations. PDQ Workholding, a manufacturer of hydraulic fixtures and workholding solutions for the CNC machining industry, works with a global customer base from its Whitley County operations.

Solstice Medical LLC announced today the company is locating its operations at a new, state-of-the-art facility in Park 30 Business Center and anticipates adding 10-15 new jobs by mid-2013.
