Foreign Trade Zone - Alternative Site Framework Application

Whitley County has joined the City of Fort Wayne’s application to expand Foreign Trade Zone #182 through the new Alternative Site Framework status to include sites in Whitley County, which will streamline the process for companies to receive foreign trade zone status. Companies that operate in foreign trade zones can defer, reduce or eliminate Customs duties on foreign products.
