“As the EDC works to expand its focus on talent attraction and development, I am happy we are able to find one of our own young people who was interested in returning home to help us grow and expand economic opportunities for the families in Whitley County,” said Jon Myers, EDC president. “We are particularly lucky to have someone who understands our agricultural heritage and the economic challenges facing our rural communities.
St. George attended Kansas State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and journalism.
She is a native of Columbia City in Whitley County and a 2012 graduate of Columbia City High School. St. George was a ten-year 4-H member and active in Columbia City FFA at the national level and held several chapter and district offices.
