EDC WorkShop Program

The manufacturing industry has been a vital part of Whitley County’s economic success. And as new technologies arise, manufacturing businesses will have to adapt in order to grow and survive. In order to retain the existing workforce and continue adapting and thriving in manufacturing, the EDC created the WorkShop program.

The EDC WorkShop program assists with expanding clients’ capabilities to include digital design and manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and/or lightweight and modern metals.

The EDC is currently working with Purdue University’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and Indiana Next Generation Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC) programs to create a digital manufacturing education program designed specifically for manufacturing companies in Whitley County.
