WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (January 24, 2020) – The Whitley County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) board of directors chairman, Brooks Langeloh, announced today that Jon Myers, EDC president, will retire later this spring.

Whitley County had a successful 2019, and made state headlines with our economic growth. Indiana Economic Development Corporation released the press release detailing the state’s success.

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (December 23, 2019) – Mach Medical, a medical device company, announced plans to establish a manufacturing and Research and Development facility in Whitley County, investing nearly $14 million and creating up to 132 new jobs by the end of 2025.

The 2020 Census is approaching and the goal of the U.S. Census is to count everyone once, only once and in the right place. During the 2010 census, nearly 20% of the Whitley County residents were not counted.
